This site is devoted to growth in love of God and neighbor, primarily as catalyzed by the intellectual life of the Church--it is absurd to think that we can love God more by knowing him less. This intellectual life is energized by faith and reason, and their interplay under the leading of the Holy Spirit.
This site is dedicated to Mary, Mother of God, under her title Seat of Wisdom.

DEACON LES
I am a senior-status deacon in the parish of St. Thomas the Apostle, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I am a retired systems engineer.
My wife Elaine and I were married on 20 June 1959, and have seven children and one grandson.
I was ordained a deacon on 22 March 1975.
I am in union with all Bishops, other Clergy, and Religious and other Laity who are faithful to the Holy Father and to the teachings of the magisterium of the Catholic Church.
